I am working in the Membrane Technology Research Center (MTRC), at Sahand University of Technology. Right now I am working on my masters thesis and other projects in the lab.
My research in Chemical Engineering and Biomedical Science is on urea removal (or adsorption) from dialysate solution using modified polymeric membranes in membrane contactors module for resuscitation dialysate and reducing its consumption in the blood dialysis.
During this period, I learned the fabrication of polymeric membranes (neat and modified with nanoparticles) by Tips and Nips methods, as well as the methods of making polymeric membranes with flat-sheet and hollow fibers structures and using them in membrane contactors and membrane bioreactor (MBR) systems.
