Your Responsibilities
- Completing a doctoral thesis
- Conducting research individually and in collaboration with colleagues
- Teaching courses as an instructor and assisting other course instructors in their teaching and student supervision
- Assisting students in course and thesis work
- Contributing to research articles to be submitted to international academic journals
- Participating in international academic conferences and business conventions
- Collaborating with a global network of marketing/management scholars
- Contributing to organizational and administrative tasks
- Support in the draft of research proposals
Your Profile
- Completion or near completion of a Master´s degree or equivalent (e.g., MBA) in marketing, communication, business or a related field
- Very good knowledge of either qualitative (e.g. case studies, focus groups, content analysis ,…) and/ or quantitative research methods (multivariate data analysis, regression models, HLM) and expertise in the relevant software
- Experience or interest in theory-guided empirical research
- Excellent command of English in speaking and writing
- Willingness to achieve Level B1 in German language within 3 years of job start
- Enthusiastic about academic research
- Ability and motivation to work in a self-directed and team-oriented manner
- Advanced experience or knowledge in one of the following fields is an advantage but not mandatory: Simulation models, sensitivity analysis, advanced methods in case study research, regression analysis or multivariate statistical analysis and related software
- Academic curiosity, ideally in areas concerned with foundations of business model design, theory and analytics of business models, with a focus on conceptual foundations, governance and infrastructures underlying business model architectures
- Initial interest and experience in the systematic research in business model architectures and in relevant fields in particular in management, service, information systems research or entrepreneurship research

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 52.007,20 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
