Your Responsibilities

  • Development of transition metal complexes that represent suitable models for the active center of metal enzymes and novel catalysts
  • Investigation of the compounds with regard to their structure and their reactivity towards biologically and industrially relevant small molecules
  • Writing a dissertation at the University of Graz in the area inorganic chemistry
  • Independent teaching of courses and participation in teaching and examination tasks of the inorganic chemistry
  • Supervision of students
  • Participation in organizational and administrative tasks as well as in evaluation measures

Your Profile

  • Completed diploma or master’s degree in the area of chemistry (or a comparable degree)
  • Knowledge of synthetic chemistry is an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken German and English
  • High level of commitment and motivation for scientific work
  • High degree of personal responsibility and ability to cooperate
  • Ability to communicate and work in a team

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 52.007,20 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
