Your Responsibilities
- Autonomous research and publication activities in the field of economics
- Participation in existing research projects and development of new research projects in the field of economic policy and related fields
- Participation in the application process for third-party funded projects
- Independent teaching of courses and conducting of examinations in the field of economics, in particular economic policy, but also in other fields depending on the needs of department
- Professional and organizational supervision of students
- Participation in organizational and administrative tasks such as organization of seminars/workshops as well as in evaluation measures
- Assistance with the supervision of doctoral students
Your Profile
- Completed doctorate/PhD in the area of Social Sciences or Economics
- Publications in internationally peer-reviewed journals as well as participation in international congresses in the field of economic policy and related fields
- Experience in working on externally funded research projects
- Teaching experience in economic policy and related fields
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
- Good knowledge of written and spoken German (desirable)
- Very good IT skills
- Enjoyment of scientific work and working with students
- Independent and goal-oriented working style
- Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 69.060,59 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
