Your Responsibilities

  • Autonomous research and publication activities in the field of economics
  • Participation in existing research projects and development of new research projects in the field of economic policy and related fields
  • Participation in the application process for third-party funded projects
  • Independent teaching of courses and conducting of examinations in the field of economics, in particular economic policy, but also in other fields depending on the needs of department
  • Professional and organizational supervision of students
  • Participation in organizational and administrative tasks such as organization of seminars/workshops as well as in evaluation measures
  • Assistance with the supervision of doctoral students

Your Profile

  • Completed doctorate/PhD in the area of Social Sciences or Economics
  • Publications in internationally peer-reviewed journals as well as participation in international congresses in the field of economic policy and related fields
  • Experience in working on externally funded research projects
  • Teaching experience in economic policy and related fields
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken German (desirable)
  • Very good IT skills
  • Enjoyment of scientific work and working with students
  • Independent and goal-oriented working style
  • Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 69.060,59 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
