Salary Category: B1 without PhD
Employment Start: As soon as possible
Duration of Contract: Temporary employment
Unit: Department of Foundations of Law
Your Responsibilities
- Writing a dissertation at the University of Graz in the field of Roman law and/or related legal fields (history of law, civil law)
- Independent research in Roman law and related fields (history of law, civil law)
- Participation in research and other projects of the Department
- Independent teaching and participation in teaching tasks
- Participation in examination tasks and supervision of students
- Assisting with organizational and administrative tasks
Your Profile
- Completed diploma or master’s degree in law
- Very good knowledge of and particular interest in the field of Roman law
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
- Further knowledge of other foreign languages (especially Italian and Latin)
- Teaching experience desirable
- Comprehensive IT skills
- Independent and precise working style and high level of initiative
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Experience abroad desirable

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 52.865,40 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
