Your Responsibilities
- Writing a publication-oriented dissertation within the framework of the project "Hand in Hand for Success: Developmentally Sensitive Support for Children with Different Learning Conditions in Mathematics, Reading, and Writing – A Biopsychosocial Model for Inclusive Education and Cooperative Support" (Educational Innovation Project ). The dissertation will focus on the topic "Early Identification and Support of Receptive Grammatical Skills: Development of Diagnostic and Educational Approaches", specifically the validation of the instrument GraF GruS and the development and piloting of a support concept
- Participation in research projects within the framework of the Center for Empirical Research in Inclusion (CERI) and the research focus Inclusive Education
- Independent research and publication activities
- Collaboration with the project partners of the Hand in Hand project
- If required, teaching courses and contributing to teaching and examination tasks at the Department of Education Research and Teacher Education, particularly in teacher training programs (Bachelor and Master) and the Master Inclusive Education
- Supervision of students, especially in connection with the analysis of quantitative and qualitative empirical data; involvement in examination tasks
- Contribution to organizational and administrative tasks as well as evaluation measures
Your Profile
- Completed diploma or master’s degree in Inclusive Education, Psychology, or an equivalent degree relevant to the position
- A planned dissertation project
- Experience in conception and organization of empirical research projects
- Main focus in the field of inclusive education
- International conference experience and publication activity
- Above-average knowledge of methods in empirical social research
- High competence in dealing with statistic methods and computer programs for analysis of quantitative or qualitative empirical data (e.g. SPSS)
- Profound knowledge of computerized literature search
- High level of commitment to learning new areas and methods
- Very good command of written and spoken German and English
- Willingness for international and interdisciplinary co-operation and ability to work independently and in scientific research teams
- High social competence and communication skills, ability to work in teams and organizational skills
- Enjoyment in working with children

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 52.865,40 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
