Your Responsibilities

  • Independent research and publication activities in the field of (Classical) Phenomenology with a specialization in at least one of the following areas: epistemology, social philosophy, theory of emotions, ethics, phenomenological psychopathology, or philosophy of science for the humanities.
  • Possibility to work on a habilitation project
  • (Co-)Organization of conferences and workshops
  • Independent teaching work
  • Participation in teamteaching initiatives
  • Supervision of students
  • Planning and implementing independent research projects and assisting with related fundraising activities
  • Interest in and qualification for interdisciplinary research
  • Co-operation in administrative duties

Your Profile

  • Completed doctorate, or PhD, in philosophy
  • International experience in teaching and/or research activities (desirable)
  • Teaching experience in higher education sector
  • Very good command of English
  • Good command of German or the willingness to gain the required language proficiency within two years
  • Communicative / organizational / teamworking skills
  • Independent workstyle
  • Reliability

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 70.200,20 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
