Your Responsibilities
- Independent research, publication and presentation activities in the field of EnglishLanguage Teaching, Research and Methodology
- Participation in existing research projects and development of new research projects in the field of EnglishLanguage Teaching, Research and Methodology
- Possibility to work on a habilitation project
- Active participation in applications for third-party funded projects
- Independent teaching of courses and conducting of examinations
- Professional and organizational supervision of students
- Participation in organizational and administrative tasks as well as in evaluation tasks within the department and institute
Your Profile
- Completed doctorate/PhD in the area of English Studies, Applied Linguistics or equivalent, with a special emphasis on ELT
- Good knowledge of written and spoken German and excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
- Very good IT skills, especially in connection with digital teaching
- Enjoyment of scientific work and working with students
- Independent and goal-oriented working style
- Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams
- Experience in English language teaching at secondary school level is desirable
- An interest in the psychology of language learning and teaching is also desirable

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 70.200,20 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
