The Biomedical Engineering program at Universidad Militar Nueva Granada is a comprehensive and multidisciplinary degree that integrates engineering principles with medical and biological sciences. The curriculum combines strong foundations in mathematics, physics, electronics, and computer science with advanced biomedical topics such as physiology, biomaterials, medical instrumentation, rehabilitation technologies, and clinical engineering.
Throughout the program, I acquired skills in the design, maintenance, and regulation of medical devices, as well as in health technology management, quality assurance, and metrology. The academic training emphasized problem-solving, teamwork, innovation, and adherence to national and international health standards.
This program prepared me to contribute to healthcare improvement through the development and application of biomedical technologies in hospital, industrial, and research environments.
