Posy Busby

Posy Busby is an Associate Professor at Oregon State University whose research explores how plant-associated microbial communities influence plant health, stress tolerance, and ecosystem function. Her lab investigates fungal endophytes and broader plant microbiomes in forests and agricultural systems, integrating field experiments, genomics, and ecological theory. Busby leads projects on tree microbiomes under climate stress, including heat waves, and collaborates across the Oregon State College of Forestry and the Agricultural Microbiomes community.
